What is ASID?
The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is the leading non-profit professional organization representing the interests of interior design professionals and the design community. We represent designers, industry representatives, educators and students throughout the state of Oregon and southwestern Washington. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, and community outreach, the Oregon Chapter of ASID strives to advance the interior design profession and in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives.

The Oregon Chapter adheres to the concept that ASID is continuously valuable to its members and the Interior Design profession through fostering and sharing ideas, advocating interior designers’ right to practice, educating its membership and the public, expanding interior design markets and celebrating design excellence.
ASID Statement of Ethics
Members of the American Society of Interior Designers are required to conduct their professional practice in a manner that will inspire the respect of clients, suppliers of goods and services to the profession and fellow professional designers, as well as the general public.
