About ASID Oregon

Liliana Dartu, Allied Member ASID

Raised in Romania deeply immersed in European culture, Liliana Dartu moved to the United States in 1998. She left behind her career in Chemical Engineering to embrace her  love of exploring beauty in art, places, and people. Liliana combined her technical and project management skills with her restless creativity and artistic talents and found her best expression in the interior design profession.

Dedicated to the integrity of the conceptual design and very inventive in the use of space and materials, she applies value engineering principles to meet the client's expectations and the performances required for the public or residential use.

As an Interior Designer for U.S. Contract Design Group, Liliana designs the interiors of medium-size hotels, both franchise and independently operated. She runs the project from the initial contact to the delivery of the design solution to the client's property. Liliana acts as an extra pair of eyes, ears, and hands for the owner, managing the entire project through all the phases of design, specification, sourcing, purchasing, delivery, and coordination with the installers. Her blend of skills, vision, and passion for design often attracts invitations from the hotel owners to  design their private residences.

Currently she is working toward her NCIDQ accreditation and volunteers her time to further advance the connectivity and professionalism in our ASID chapter.
